Our glasswork is created by the lampworking or flameworking technique, by remelting glass rod and tubing using torches of the surface mix type (propane &
oxygen).
We produce both solid glass and blown glass combining the methods of traditional flameworkers and techniques acquired from traditional glass blowing.
We employ the free hand method; no molds or machinery are used in the forming process. The majority of our work is made with borosilicate glass (Pyrex ®), and the remainder with various types of soft glass.
We prefer borosilicate glass because of its greater strength and durability.
